You and me, are we totally free ...
To be all that God intends us to be?

Are we able to shed this world and all its trappings
To become like Christ, our big Brother and example

Do we cling to the earthly thoughts of the day
And let God’s Word from our ears fade away?

Do we think of the welfare of others more than our selves?
Or do we selfishly want what we want – when, where, no matter how

Do we think about our family members who are headed for hell?
Do we witness of God’s grace, mercy and His eternal home?

Do we share our experiences with our friends?
Do we invite them to come and try Christ for themselves?

Is “what have you done for me lately” your motto
And street talk, slang with profane words your lingo

Are you and me really totally free
To be all that God intends us to be?

Or is Satan’s hold on you so tight
That you don’t even know how to fight
The darts of evil, hate and destruction that come your way.
Are you the enemy’s property for him to use and then slay?

Let's get free from the evil ties that bind you and me
So that we can be used of God for His mighty cause
Let's be FREE!

Let’s lead lives worthy of the blood shed by Christ
Following our Lord’s example of self-sacrifice

Are you and me now totally free
To be all that God intends us to be?
