Have you seen the face of God?
Have you looked upon His loveliness?
His loveliness is like the rainbow, so beautiful it’s indescribable.

Have you seen the face of God?
Have you seen His eyes?
His eyes light up the northern sky like the twinkling of the stars.

Have you seen the face of God?
Have you seen His smile?
His smile lights up the southern sky as joy lights up our hearts.

Have you seen the face of God?
Have you seen His mighty nostrils?
There is no hook there to lead Him, no one’s slave is He.

Have you seen the face of God …
When His smile is turned into a frown?
Get out of the way for a wrong has been done and He needs no reply.

His wrath can be thunderous
And sharp as the lightening across the sky
While He shields and protects, like the wings of an eagle, those beloved and nigh.

He will correct every wrong,
And recompense every hurt
His grace is unmeritable and His mercy is everlasting.

Have you seen the face of God …
Or are you in concealment from His wrath?

God knows all and sees all
There is nothing that can be hidden from Him.

So look toward the face of the living God
He can forgive and forget, heal and cleanse!
